FAQ

Are the glazes food safe?

Yes, all of the glazes Abraham uses are completely food safe and lead-free.

Is it safe to put the pottery in the microwave or the oven?

Yes. It is also safe to run the pottery through the dishwasher! All of the pieces are fired above 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, so as long as your microwave doesn't get that hot (it almost certainly doesn't), you're just fine.

What if my pottery arrives damaged?

If anything arrives broken we will happily refund the purchase price, just send us a photo of the damage. All purchase are insured, so no worries!

Do you take custom orders?

Send us an email to request a custom order or for more information. Custom orders take between one and three months to be thrown, dried, fired, glazed, and fired a second time before arriving at your door.

What's the mailing list for?

If you join our mailing list you will get early access to special offers and new, one-of-a-kind pieces before they are available on the website, and receive updates about shows and inventory. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Email List.

Do you have your own studio with a wheel and kiln?

Abraham makes all his pottery in his home studio on Vashon Island, Washington. For his 13th birthday all he asked for was money to help him save up for his very own wheel! It's been over ten years and he still throws all of his pottery on that wheel, which he has repaired many times.

How is your pottery sized?

We have a comprehensive sizing page you can look over here.
